Taxes / Budget Fiscally sound and responsible budget while ensuring the safety, protection and quality life balance of our citizens. Make sure that the city is working for the citizens, not the citizens for the city. Diligently look at the budget to see if there are areas where we can cut or areas where we need to increase funding. Infrastructure / Transportation We need to stop “giving the farm away” to developers who want to build on our limited amount of acreage. (Sometimes literally farms!) Let’s make sure that roads and water projects are funded properly. Infrastructure / Transportation Beautification, parks, trails, and community events that bring neighbors together. Infrastructure / Transportation With only about 600 acres left to develop, we must get it right. Development should improve the lives of residents, not just increase revenue. Infrastructure / Transportation It means making sure infrastructure keeps up with growth. Taxes / Budget Careful budgeting that protects taxpayers while funding the services residents depend on. Infrastructure / Transportation INFRASTRUCTURE FIRST Roads, water, and city services must keep pace with growth so our community stays safe and well served. Criminal Justice / Public Safety As we continue to grow, it’s time to ensure our Fire and Police departments are housed in their own buildings to respond to our residents quickly and with accuracy. Make sure the “city’s finest” has what they need to keep us...and them...safe.
