Education Lorraine respects the rights of parents to make decisions they deem best for their children. Parents need to know what is being taught and what is happening in the classroom. Allowing parents to visit their child’s classroom in an orderly and non-disruptive manner should be offered. Education Allowing for classroom visitation of school board members should be encouraged. Education Lorraine supports reviewing and approving curriculum that focuses on teaching the basics. She believes there is a need to be totally transparent on what is being taught in the school. Education ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE The low proficiency scores across the district in reading and math are very concerning. What our students need from us is to take a closer look at what is behind these low scores and make some changes.
