Criminal Justice / Public Safety But true public safety goes beyond enforcement. It’s also about building environments that discourage crime before it happens, supporting youth programs, improving mental-health response options, and ensuring new developments follow proper safety guidelines from the start. Taxes / Budget Every dollar matters. Every decision should be visible. I’m committed to ensuring the people of Hillsborough know exactly where their money goes — because trust is earned through openness. Infrastructure / Transportation My plan focuses on structured, intentional development that improves infrastructure before new projects break ground. That includes smarter traffic flow, upgraded drainage systems, modernized utilities, and transportation planning that reduces congestion rather than reacting to it. Criminal Justice / Public Safety My focus is on strengthening coordination between agencies, improving response times, and ensuring our deputies, firefighters, and first responders have the tools, training, and resources they need to protect our families. This includes addressing infrastructure issues that impact safety—like poor lighting, outdated intersections, and neighborhoods that need better visibility and road design to reduce accidents and crime. Infrastructure / Transportation At the same time, we must protect historic districts like Ybor City by revitalizing them without erasing their cultural identity. We can create new economic opportunities while preserving the architecture and character that define these areas. Economy My approach focuses on cutting red tape, modernizing county operations, and ensuring that businesses receive timely, transparent, and accountable service. When government becomes more efficient and predictable, job creation accelerates, investment rises, and our economy becomes more resilient.
