Fun Fact
I used to have a Private pilot's license, I like to golf, and I've done a episode of House Hunters in 2008. I am running because the party of incumbent Supervisors has failed to address the issues of our community and their failures will adversely impact my child and my family for years.

My Top Issues
Invest in local public education
With 50 million school-aged children in the United States, a strong and robust public education system is a moral, social, and economic imperative. Early and continuing education is the prevention measure to diminish poverty, drug abuse, teenage pregnancy, crime, and destitution. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." Public education forms the basis of the oft-cited "common sense" and I am a fierce advocate for well-resourced, well-lead, and well-attended public schools.
Increasing affordable housing options
Spotsylvania County sits on strategic ground between Richmond and Washington, DC. It is unquestionable that people are going to want to live, work, and play in the Spotsylvania County and Central Rappahannock region. We MUST support affordable housing as central to attracting business and potential labor for the current employers, but also for the future growth we ALREADY know will happen. We can no longer prioritize mansions and home prices that are simply unreachable for many young professionals attempting to start families in Spotsy. We know the median income of many in this area and I support construction of mixed housing aimed at keeping housing costs below the 30% of income.
Enhancing digital infrastructure and connectivity
We know the direction of human evolution has ALWAYS been to invent and innovate. We moved from Bone tools to Stone tools. We moved from Stone to Brass, brass to steel and so on. We can no longer remain a community that doesn't support data centers and pro-digital infrastructure policy. Beyond the unmatched revenue source, it will provide well-paying jobs during construction and contribute to National Security, commercial and business growth, and workforce development.
Education
I believe strong public education forms the backbone of a healthy and dynamic community ensuring Spotsylvania's children, educators, and staff are engaged and fulfilled. Spotsylvania schools can and will get the attention they deserve with me on your Board of Supervisors.
Infrastructure / Transportation
I will forcefully advocate for infrastructure projects that benefits quality of life, law enforcement, fire and emergency services and those entities that bring much-desired tourism dollars to the region.
Criminal Justice / Public Safety
No community functions well when it's citizens, businesses, and visitors don't feel safe. With years of military, national security, emergency management and Incident Command Experience, I have the knowledge and tact to advocate for Spotsylvania's Public Safety enterprise.
Economy
I intend to fully weigh the benefits and drawbacks of every action while being thoughtful and attentive to the community's environmental and economic concerns.
