Fun Fact

I’m adventurous at heart! I’ve been skydiving, love biking and exploring the outdoors, and I never pass up a chance to travel. But at my core, I’m deeply family-oriented. Whether it’s weekend visits with extended family, exploring new cities with my daughters, or tending to our houseplants and pets together, family is the heartbeat of everything I do.

Past Experience

I’m running for Wichita City Council because District 6 deserves a leader who listens and acts. As a military widow, a mother, homeowner, and third-generation activist, I’ve seen the impact of unsafe streets, unaffordable housing, and businesses closing their doors. Serving on the appointed community board for Park Elementary, where I helped plan field trips, fundraise for school needs, and launch new initiatives, I understand the challenges of our school system. I’ve helped build community trust, led youth justice efforts, and worked in operations and staff development across the Midwest. I’m fighting for safer neighborhoods, support for small businesses, affordable homeownership, and real solutions to homelessness because our families deserve better. With real experience and deep roots, I’m ready to serve District 6.

My Top Issues

Increasing affordable housing options

I support expanding affordable housing through the renovation of existing vacant properties and partnerships that prioritize low-income families, seniors, and working residents. Everyone deserves a safe, stable place to live — not luxury units funded by public dollars.

Participatory budgeting

I believe residents should have a real say in how public dollars are spent — especially in neighborhoods that have been overlooked. Participatory budgeting builds trust and ensures our investments reflect the priorities of the people.

Private/public community revitalization efforts

I’m committed to revitalizing distressed neighborhoods by reinvesting in existing infrastructure and buildings — not abandoning them. Through public-private partnerships and creative workforce programs, we can bring life, jobs, and dignity back to our communities.
