Education Parents know their children best, and their voices are essential in shaping decisions that affect learning, belonging, and well-being. As a school board, our role is to listen openly, communicate clearly, and create meaningful opportunities for partnership, especially during times of change. Supporting them means valuing their expertise, maintaining clear roles between the Board and administration, and creating conditions that help recruit and retain excellent educators. When staff feel respected and supported, students and schools thrive. Education Our schools are rooted in connection. When families, educators, and community members work together with trust and shared purpose, students are better supported and more successful. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Learning happens best when students and staff feel safe, supported, and connected. I support strengthening mental health resources, fostering belonging, and partnering with families and community organizations to support well-being both in and out of school. Taxes / Budget I believe in budgeting that puts students and classrooms first, uses data and enrollment trends to guide decisions, and plans for long-term financial stability. Transparency and accountability for taxpayer dollars matter, especially when difficult choices must be made.
