Mark will expand community outreach programs, bring regular town halls to every part of the county, and ensure every neighborhood has a voice in public safety decisions. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Mark will work to reduce violent crime and property crime by deploying proven, data-driven policing strategies while ensuring deputies have the training and resources they need to protect every resident. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Too many mental health crises are handled without the right resources. Mark will expand co-responder programs with trained professionals and strengthen detention-based mental health services, so every call and every person in custody gets the appropriate response.
