Infrastructure / Transportation Planning for and funding necessary infrastructure upgrades, including roads, public transportation, water systems, and sewage treatment, to keep pace with population growth. Education Job Training Programs: Partnering with local colleges or trade schools to offer specific training programs that match the needs of targeted industries. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Public Services: Ensuring that public services like schools, healthcare facilities, police, and fire departments have the resources and capacity to serve a growing population. Environment / Energy Protecting natural resources, sensitive ecosystems, and agricultural land and Water to maintain the community's character and environmental health. Economy If elected, I will focus on reducing the time it take to get a building permit and growing the tax base. Lyon County will become a business-friendly county.
