Infrastructure / Transportation Well-planned growth should strengthen the town financially without compromising our quality of life. We can, and should, grow in a way that ensures long-term fiscal viability while preserving everything that makes Oro Valley a wonderful place to live. Infrastructure / Transportation Growth must be sensible, focused, and consistent with Oro Valley’s values, culture, and character. It must occur with meaningful citizen input and never in a political vacuum or to appease individual or special interests. Taxes / Budget We must take a strategic, comprehensive approach that examines both revenues and expenditures. This means responsibly expanding revenue sources and broadening the base from which revenues are generated. This is not through piecemeal tax increases, but through smart, long-term planning. At the same time, we must closely examine town spending to ensure your tax dollars are being used as wisely and efficiently as possible. Criminal Justice / Public Safety As mayor, I will ensure our police department receives the resources and support it needs to keep Oro Valley safe. I will do so without political theatrics.
