Fun Fact

In my limited free time, I blend my love of sports with many hands-on hobbies, and dedicating time with my family. I am a devoted fan of both college and professional sports, and from time to time, I attempt to live out my dreams of being a professional player by hooping on the court or playing flag football. Beyond sports, I love gardening, woodworking, and experimenting as an "amateur foodie." I am often traveling either for work or with my family, but make it a priority embrace and explore local cultures. Additionally, he dedicates time to giving back to the community through volunteering. When balancing an active professional career and family, hard work is the standard but it's also important to enjoy your accomplishments with your loved ones.

Past Experience

Beyond being a dedicated father of two boys and devoted husband; I bring with me decades of operations, supply chain, and leadership experience working in fortune 500 companies gaining strong expertise in process, project, and program management. A Leadership Gwinnett Graduate, I bring many more years of organizational leadership and volunteering in the community including serving 5 years as your Norcross City Council member. And moreover, I bring a lifetime of hard work and strong family values. Five years as your City Council Member; It seems just yesterday I was sworn into my first political experience and helping Norcross navigate the uncertainty of the pandemic. I still do not consider myself a career politician, but I am a problem solver that is actively engaged in the city, county and region. Before being elected to serve our city in any official capacity, I led in the development of the 2040 Comprehensive Plan, and work with city staff in the adoption of the Unified Development Ordinance as the chair of the Planning & Zoning Board. In my first term as a City Council member, among helping our city, businesses, and residents battle the Covid-19 pandemic, we were able to activate the Norcross Development Authority serving the entirety of the city limits, approving Buford Highway Master Plan bridging one of our city's physical divides, and saw our city grow tremendously through numerous development projects. In my second term, I led the Council as the liaison in value engineering of the new Public Safety Building, championed a more aggressive strategy for bringing necessary infrastructure projects such as bringing our $17M backlog in Road Surfacing projects current, worked to reduced overall city taxes while maintaining a high level of service and events in the city and sponsored the Homestead Exemption Referendum on this year's ballot. And I’m a firm believer that when we bring together a diversity of ideas, incomes, and cultures we’re a stronger city.
