Environment / Energy As a rural county, we are justifiably proud of our open spaces. However, public access to recreational spaces has not kept pace with development, particularly in the Freedom District. I will advocate for expanding and improving access to green spaces and recreational opportunities for all county residents. Education The school buildings themselves are cornerstone resources in our communities, and their maintenance and improvement need to be treated as such. Economy Careful and sustainable planning are key to supporting both residential affordability and continued business investment in our communities. Education I am supportive of ways we can make early childhood education and school age enrichment offerings more affordable and accessible. Education All adults, regardless of age and stage of life, should have learning resources and opportunities available to them. Education Education needs to be a top budget priority to best serve our teachers, our schools, and our communities. When we fund our teachers and schools properly, we build stronger classrooms, more stable schools, and a better learning environment for all. Economy Aim to build a strong local economy with work that can that support residents. Taxes / Budget We need to support and develop our already excellent libraries. They serve as important community hubs with opportunities for engagement throughout the county.
