Taxes / Budget While Cedar Park has grown tremendously in the last few years, we’ve worked hard to keep our city government efficient and effective. We must continue our work of providing the highest level of services to our residents while ensuring every penny we have is spent responsibly. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Cedar Park is one of the safest cities in Texas and our police and fire departments have been nationally recognized for their excellence. We need to ensure that these departments continue to be supported and given the tools they need to keep our residents safe. We also need to continue building relationships and connections between the departments and the public.
