Criminal Justice / Public Safety With Governor Newsom and the radical left Democrats closing our prisons, our streets and neighborhoods are saturated with people who have absolutely no regard for our laws or law enforcement and face no consequences to their actions, including shoplifting. We must re-open our prisons and provide the necessary funding. We need to remove the sentenced felons from our local jails and return them to the prisons which allows for local law enforcement to get the repeat offenders off the streets. I have always worked and will continue to work to give our law enforcement officers the tools they need to ensure the job done of keeping our communities safe. I favor removing Soros-backed District Attorneys and repealing laws like AB 109, and Props 47 and 57 which are making crime a way of life in our state. Housing The State of California is good about funding PROGRAMS for the homeless for housing or rehabilitation but the problem that exists is that there are no checks and balances regarding how the funds are spent. This makes the individual programs fractured and ineffective. Also, when a program’s funding or grants run out, the problem of homelessness still exists in our communities. I will work with other legislators to push money to mental health FACILITIES that will stay in our communities while removing tent cities and establishing buffer zones between homeless encampments and schools, parks, and businesses. Education The radical left Democrats in Sacramento are working at breakneck speed to mainstream transgender extremism and corrupt our children. Through legislation that encourages so-called ''Gender Identity'' curriculum, pornographic sex education and books like ''Gender Queer'' in school libraries, the radical left is seeking to deny parents a say in their childrens’ education. They are even trying to take children away from their parents if they don’t sign on to saying their son is really a girl and their daughter is really a boy! As a former teacher, I will fight the ''Drag Queen'' Democrats and their agenda to take away our kids’ innocence.
