Criminal Justice / Public Safety I am committed to making public safety a top priority in our county because safe communities are the foundation of strong families, thriving businesses, and a bright future for our children. As Anoka County Commissioner, I will work tirelessly with our sheriff’s office, local law enforcement, and first responders to ensure they have the resources, training, and technology needed to do their jobs effectively. Criminal Justice / Public Safety We must also address the root causes of crime through smarter prevention strategies, including youth mentoring initiatives and targeted interventions in high-risk areas, while maintaining a firm stance on holding criminals accountable. Infrastructure / Transportation As your Anoka County Commissioner, I will make transportation and infrastructure a top priority by focusing on smart, results-driven investments. I will fight to close funding gaps on major projects, accelerate road and bridge preservation programs, and ensure every dollar is spent efficiently on fixing what we have before starting new initiatives. Housing As your Anoka County Commissioner, I will champion responsible growth that expands housing choices without sacrificing our quality of life. I will support targeted incentives for workforce housing, work to remove unnecessary regulatory barriers that slow development, and ensure new growth is paired with the infrastructure needed to support it. Taxes / Budget As your County Commissioner, I will prioritize restoring fiscal discipline and long-term stability. We must stop deficit spending, aggressively control costs, and root out inefficiencies in county government. I will push for smarter budgeting that protects essential services like public safety and roads without placing an unfair burden on taxpayers.
