No more utility fees!
Infrastructure / Transportation
Albany needs to improve our roads and streets. At the same time, we can’t continue to add one utility fee on another. All options must be on the table. The council can play a leadership role by doing the work of crafting a detailed plan on projects and rallying partners around a proposal presented to the voters.
Housing
A public park or street shouldn’t be someone’s home. We need to balance our compassion with some tough love and encourage those experiencing homelessness to work towards self-sufficiency. My experience with Albany’s non-profit low income housing provider will be a benefit to Albany City Council.
