About Me

Occupation

Substance Use Disorder Professional

Fun Fact

I have ten grandchildren ages 27 to 9 yrs old. I love family, riding side by sides in the mountains and in the sand dunes. I love cars, going to car shows. I enjoy people and hearing their stories. I am a leader not a follower. I believe in facts not hearsay.

Past Experience

I have 15 years in public service working with our adolescents and adults in the community and incarcerated to become appropriate citizens in society and reduce recidivism. I am on the board for our local museum. I am working to bring the community together young and old. I want to see our community include the younger generation who want to be a part of our community. I want Connell to be a community where people are proud to live here and encourage others to visit.

My Top Issues

Enhancing transparency and accountability

There needs to be more community involvement in decisions made for our small community. It should be left to a very small group to decide without the communities knowledge

Addressing substance abuse and mental health issues

Communities would benefit with an on call professional to help with situations with mental health and substance Use problems that are related to crimi al activity.

Police community boards

Communities should be introduced to new officers along with those hired need to introduce themselves to the council and community.
