Criminal Justice / Public Safety Our MBPD needs to remain visible and diligent to make sure our residents and visitors feel safe. Education Monica remains steadfast in her support of expanded educational opportunities beyond what the School Board provides. Education Our public schools are among the best in the district, but we must make sure they stay that way by investing in arts, culture, and tutoring programs. Infrastructure / Transportation We need to take real action to reduce traffic by enlarging our trolley fleet and supporting a robust park-and-ride program for commuters who live or work off the Beach. Infrastructure / Transportation We can achieve cleaner, safer, and drier streets through a simple program of regularly cleaning out storm drains and investing in infrastructure upgrades when needed. Infrastructure / Transportation Our sanitation teams work tirelessly. We need to ensure that the private waste haulers do a better job. Infrastructure / Transportation Overdevelopment has significantly reduced much of the charm of our city. To change that, we must ensure our community receives more equitable and adequate public benefits from new development.
