However, this independence must be balanced with effective collaboration and cooperation with other public agencies to best serve the community. I am committed to fostering these partnerships and ensuring that the citizens of Jefferson County receive only the highest level of care and service. Government Reform I plan to continue the spirit of collaboration among staff and county departments to advocate for and foster the staff's support, growth and retention required to achieve its mission. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Dedicated to the reduction of premature death, with service on boards and committees surrounding child fatalities, substance use, suicide, and traffic incidents.
