Education Decades of stagnant investment from the State and decreasing reimbursement for unfunded mandates like special education means we are not meeting the needs of our most vulnerable students. We need to reaffirm our community's commitment to this investment in our shared future by attracting the best educators, supporting every classroom, and meeting the needs of every student. Education Thanks to prudent financial management, Appleton is one of the last districts in the region to have a true neighborhood school model. We need to explore and articulate our core values as a community and celebrate the positive outcomes of this model for students, families, and neighbors.
