My Top Issues

Taxes / Budget

Public safety, infrastructure, and essential operations are the foundation of a functioning city, and I will ensure they remain fully funded. Fiscal responsibility means making tough decisions — but never at the expense of what matters most.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Highway 34 is a regional issue, not just Loveland’s. Work with neighboring cities like Johnstown, Windsor, and Greeley. Prioritize smart, long-term traffic solutions.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

I support a strong, accountable, and community-connected police and fire department. Public safety is a fundamental responsibility of city government, and I will ensure our first responders have the tools, training, and leadership they need to serve all residents with professionalism and integrity.

Taxes / Budget

With the repeal of the grocery tax, Loveland faces new challenges to its financial stability. We must take proactive steps to improve our balance sheets and protect the city’s long-term fiscal health. That means prioritizing spending, identifying efficiencies, and growing our revenue base through smart development — not higher taxes. At the same time, critical base services must never be harmed.

Infrastructure / Transportation

With regional growth impacting traffic and city services, I will advocate for strategic infrastructure planning — especially along major corridors like Highway 34. We must work with neighboring communities and state partners to improve connectivity, reduce congestion, and plan for the future of the city.

Arts / Culture

Loveland’s identity as an arts-forward community is a strength we must continue to build upon. I will support efforts that extend tourism stays, improve recreational offerings, and maintain our commitment to quality-of-life amenities like the Chilson Center, the library, and our city’s parks.

Infrastructure / Transportation

Through tools like metro districts, impact fees, and thoughtful infrastructure planning, we can ensure that growth funds its own roads, utilities, and public safety needs — while preserving the high quality of life Loveland residents expect and deserve.

Economy

Grow tourism by increasing lodging and improving marketing. Promote Loveland’s arts and culture to boost the economy. Make tourism work for residents and businesses alike.

Housing

Support helping people off the street—but location and cost matter. Back a county-led, regional solution with all cities involved. No city can solve this alone, and Loveland shouldn’t bear the burden alone. Support data-driven, compassionate programs that protect all residents.

Economy

I believe in responsible, sustainable growth — not growth at any cost. New development must pay for itself, and the costs should be borne by those who live in and use the development, not by the city’s General Fund or existing residents.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

Support our police and the progress under our current chief. Expect fairness, professionalism, and transparency. Avoid public grandstanding—lead with facts.

Taxes / Budget

No tax increases in nearly 40 years—spend wisely. Protect core services: police, fire, roads, water. Make responsible, long-term budget decisions.

Economy

Support planned growth that pays its own way. Approve metro districts only when they meet Loveland’s 17-point or better standards.
