Housing Riley will fight for affordable housing through conditionalizing federal funding to localities implementing common-sense zoning reform. Legislation Riley will sponsor legislation requiring age verification for social media use for ages 16. Infrastructure / Transportation Riley will fight to expand and protect Utah’s ability to manage its own public lands. Wages / Job Benefits Riley will build apprenticeship partnerships between Utah colleges and advanced manufacturers. Legislation Riley will push to modernize government software systems, integrating AI to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse while streamlining service delivery. Defense / Veterans Riley will push for modernizing our military to reduce costs and prioritize attritable, unmanned systems over expensive legacy platforms. Taxes / Budget Riley will advocate for expanded tax credits to businesses offering 6 weeks of Paid Maternity Leave. Immigration Riley will fix our broken immigration system by maintaining the rule of law while enabling our communities to prosper socially and economically. Environment / Energy Riley will convene local stakeholders and national agencies to save the Great Salt Lake.
