Economy I will work with the city’s economic development team to find tenant or realistic development proposals for the vacant Fry’s and old movie theater. Businesses generate a majority of the funding for the West Linn-Wilsonville School District. Having more successful businesses will only increase the ability of our schools to remain one of the primary draws for families moving to Wilsonville. Infrastructure / Transportation Having proper infrastructure in place before approving additional development. Prior to approving future housing development, I will work to make sure that our infrastructure is already in place to meet the increased demand. This means upgrading roads, bridges, utilities, etc., BEFORE allowing additional development. Infrastructure / Transportation . I will work with local, state, and federal leaders to make sure that any upgrades to the Boone Bridge and additional bridge infrastructure proposed for Wilsonville will reduce congestion by best utilizing any proposed changes. Taxes / Budget I will work with the county to identify opportunities to improve our parks and recreational facilities, without having to increase property taxes or pass a new bond measure. I will work with other local, state, and federal leaders to find additional funding to better improve current city parks to make them more usable year-round.
