Taxes / Budget Sales Tax vs. Income Tax: I support ending the state income tax. Government Reform Limited Government: The government should perform its core functions and then get out of the way. Infrastructure / Transportation I will boldly stand up and demand real reform to overhaul of SCDOT so that our roads are fixed, and so your tax dollars are used wisely. Guns I fully support the 2nd Amendment both for self-defense and sporting purposes. Taxes / Budget The state government should use your tax dollars wisely and you should be able to see where the money goes. The establishment hates this. Immigration We must protect our borders and stand up for the rule of law. I will work to make sure law enforcement has the resources to address illegal immigration in our state. Government Reform Our current system is incredibly corrupt as it enables cronyism and unfair application of the law. We need reform now, but the Columbia swamp doesn't want to give up their power. I'll champion efforts to have judges appointed by the Governor or elected by the people. Infrastructure / Transportation I will continue to support doing away with voting machines and using paper ballots. We must defend free and transparent elections. Taxes / Budget As your State Representative, I have already worked diligently to root out woke funding from the state budget. Education I support teacher pay increases and school choice. I will work tirelessly to provide teachers with the resources they need to promote the best education outcomes. I strongly support parental rights and local control of education. I will defend homeschooling from government encroachment. Abortion / Contraception We must protect the right to life and end abortion now. It's time to stand up for life, keep our word, and end abortion in South Carolina. Infrastructure / Transportation Property Owner Rights: I will defend your rights as a property owner from government intrusion and overreach. Taxes / Budget The government should take less of your money and use state funds wisely. We need more transparency in the state budget. Infrastructure / Transportation We need to abolish the State Infrastructure Bank and make SCDOT either a cabinet position under the Governor or an elected secretary position. Healthcare You should be able to make the decisions you see fit when it comes to alternative treatments and the decision to receive vaccinations.
