Infrastructure / Transportation Chandler must balance the need for economic development and job creation with residents' concerns about quality of life, noise, traffic, and preserving the community's character. I will advocate for and support responsible growth. Environment / Energy An ongoing challenge in desert regions is the effective management of water and energy resources, particularly as large-scale industrial developments such as data centers demand substantial inputs of both. As future projects in Chandler are planned, it will be essential that I thoughtfully address the concerns of fellow residents regarding potential impacts on their quality of life. Infrastructure / Transportation The need for continued investment in and expanding our infrastructure to meet the growing demands of both residents and businesses is a major hurdle, with questions about who will fund and build this new capacity. I am committed to working with City staff and community stakeholders on solutions for this important pillar. Healthcare I will promote access to on-site and telehealth mental health services for both police and fire personnel to address job-related stress and trauma. Criminal Justice / Public Safety With a career dedicated to this field, I understand firsthand how technology drives innovation and transformation. I am committed to supporting the acquisition of advanced tools and facilities needed for the future. This includes modernizing outdated computer systems, paving the way for required resources, and deploying technologies that strengthen forensic capabilities and improve efficiency. Housing Like much of Arizona, Chandler is grappling with a housing shortage and rising costs. As your Councilman, I will collaborate with stakeholders to address this, while also working tirelessly to preserve local control over zoning laws and development standards. Infrastructure / Transportation I am committed to ensuring new developments align with the City's voter-approved General Plan, which designates certain areas for high-value, knowledge-based jobs rather than industrial uses with minimal on-site employment.
