My Top Issues
Education
Ross understands that the federal government’s cuts to public education, particularly programs serving English Language Learners, students with disabilities, and students experiencing poverty, would impose barriers to the American Dream for many of our students. Ross is committed to protecting these critical services.
Economy
Ross understands that Loudoun’s high cost of living is a barrier to keeping and attracting educators, and he will advocate for county-wide affordable housing initiatives that serve LCPS employees.
Education
Ross will work to strengthen LCPS’ cutting-edge STEM academies and special programs, expand academically rigorous offerings for students interested in the arts and social sciences, and prioritize resources for career and technical education, including the new Transition Center serving students with disabilities.
Education
As a School Board Member, Ross will champion academic excellence and curriculum that fosters a love for learning, creativity, and critical thinking. Ross opposes politically-motivated book bans and will protect students’ right to read in our public schools. Ross views the arts and athletics as essential components of a well-rounded education and supports comprehensive offerings of both for LCPS students.
Education
Schools are a place where all students should feel safe, seen, and respected. Ross will always prioritize the mental health and safety of all LCPS students. Ross knows that students do best in school when their families are meaningfully involved in their education.
Wages / Job Benefits
To retain our excellent educators and recruit new talent, Ross supports competitive pay and benefits, sustainable working conditions, and a fair collective bargaining process.
