Education Educate Students: Expand law enforcement officers teaching life lesson classes to more schools to help students develop into productive, upstanding citizens. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Strengthen Partnerships: Improve the working relationship between law enforcement, firefighters, EMTs, and first responders. Education Build Trust: Foster positive relationships between youth and law enforcement so students know where to go and feel comfortable asking for help when problems arise. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Recognition and Training: Equip the community and the Sheriff’s Department with the tools needed to recognize when an individual is in crisis.
