My Top Issues

Economy

I will fight to grow our economy by fostering a business-friendly environment. That means auditing the city finances to ensure money is spent in ways that make the city attractive, finding ways to streamline and make accessible permitting and other administrative processes, and partnering with local businesses, investors, and economic development groups to find the best investment strategies and opportunities.

Infrastructure / Transportation

I will make road funding a top priority. Thankfully, there are a variety of simple solutions. Between anticipated increases in tax revenue over the next few years, examining the budget to find where money can be immediately reallocated to roads, and researching other funding mechanisms, we can greatly improve Fountain's roads.

Taxes / Budget

I will work to bring accountability and clarity back to our city finances. That means demanding an audit of city spending, so we can see where our money is going, what money can be redirected to our roads, parks, and services, and what misguided pet projects can be stopped.
