Fun Fact

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, and watching sports. I'm often seen at football and basketball games watching kids and adults of all ages playing the game we love.

Past Experience

I have dedicated over 20 years to Parks and Recreation in Atlanta and Little Rock, serving in managerial positions focused on youth programs and athletics. As Director of multiple community centers, I witnessed firsthand how quality programs and strong support systems help young people thrive. For over 25 years, I've volunteered with Arkansas Hard at Work Kids, serving hundreds of youth in our community. I've also stayed connected to LRSD as a VIPS volunteer reader, athletic volunteer, and supporter of family and friends throughout the district.

My Top Issues

Safety

To provide support, provide strategies, and intervention that address the root causes of student conflict concerns and the underlying causes.

Retaining Families in LRSD

To support innovative programs that attract families and make LRSD the first choice for elementary, middle, and high school.

Community Centered Communication and Engagement

Provide opportunities for open two-way engagement with parents AND students.
