This means addressing our infrastructure issues by ensuring our sidewalks and roads receive the necessary maintenance and improvements. I will also work to incentivize contractors to protect our green spaces, ensuring they remain accessible and beautiful for all residents. By balancing growth with thoughtful planning, we can create vibrant, livable communities that reflect our values. Economy As your representative, I will champion policies that stimulate Washington State's economy by supporting small businesses and incentivizing job creation. It is essential that our longstanding businesses continue to thrive while we also create opportunities for new entrepreneurs to flourish. With my professional experience, I understand that workforce development is both an economic and human investment. By ensuring people have access to good-paying jobs, we can empower them to actively participate in and strengthen our state’s economy. Defense / Veterans As a proud veteran who served my country for 20 years, I understand the unique challenges faced by those who have worn the uniform. Our veterans deserve unwavering support and access to the resources they need to thrive in civilian life. I will work tirelessly to ensure that veterans receive comprehensive healthcare, including mental health services, and support for transitioning to civilian careers. I will advocate for policies that provide affordable housing, education benefits, and job training programs tailored to veterans. Our veterans have given so much for our country, and it is our duty to ensure they have the opportunities and support they deserve when they return home. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Creating a safe district for all requires a collective effort. I will partner with local businesses, community leaders, and law enforcement to reduce crime and make our neighborhoods safer. But we know that true safety comes from addressing the root causes of crime. That’s why I will support investments in behavioral health services, combating the opioid crisis, and workforce development. By tackling these issues head-on, we can not only reduce crime but also increase opportunities for our community members, fostering a safer district for everyone. Economy I am committed to implementing smart fiscal policies that ensure working families and small businesses are not overburdened. By addressing inflation and managing state finances responsibly, we can help residents of the 25th District keep more of their hard-earned paychecks, making life more affordable for everyone. I will work to lower the cost of living by advocating for affordable housing, reducing healthcare expenses, and supporting policies that lower everyday costs such as utilities and transportation. By focusing on these critical areas, we can make Washington State a more affordable and equitable place to live for all its residents.
