I’m an artist at heart — I love painting in all mediums (especially watercolor), and I come from a family of musicians who’ve done recordings. I still sing for fun!
I’m passionate about sports and the outdoors, always ready for a hike or a good game.
I enjoy everything from reading and visiting museums to learning about world history and exploring new cultures.
I have a big soft spot for crafts — whether it's cake decorating, scrapbooking, or anything hands-on, I’m in.
I care deeply about animal welfare, youth education, and women’s empowerment, especially for women in developing countries.
One thing's for sure: I don’t let myself sit still for long — there’s always something to learn, create, or care for!

Hi, I’m Sinar Nainggolan. After over 20 years living and working in Washington, I’ve seen how fast our communities can change — sometimes for the better, and sometimes in ways that leave people behind.
As a longtime educator, professional in administrative management, and someone who cares deeply about responsible growth, I’m running for Maple Valley City Council because I believe we need leadership that listens, acts transparently, and plans smartly for the future. I’m committed to a safer city, reasonable taxes, and balanced development that supports both families and local businesses.
This campaign is about putting people first — and I’d love your support as we work together to make a real difference in Maple Valley.

Fiscal Accountability

I believe residents deserve transparency on how our tax dollars are spent. I support responsible budgeting, better contract oversight, and clearer reporting on city expenditures.

We need a more balanced approach to growth — one that keeps up with infrastructure, listens to public input, and ensures city plans actually match real outcomes.
Public Safety and Law Enforcement
With rising concerns and stretched staffing, I support increasing police presence, setting clearer metrics for performance, and ensuring our safety funding delivers real results.
