Taxes / Budget Weld County has a history of fiscal responsibility, however the 2026 Budget has a 26% increase in spending. This far outpaces the estimated revenue, and with Federal cuts coming in the next two years it would be a good time to realign spending practices. Taxes / Budget Open books and no back room deals! Our communities are being left out of important decisions at early stages when their voices and input should be heard. Environment / Energy Growth is inevitable and needed for a healthy community. Growth should not come at the expense of environmental damage, the inability to maintain the quality of life or outpace infrastructure. A vibrant community needs growth that will protect our water, our land and our way of life. Colorado is known for its outdoor adventures. I will fight and vote to protect our natural resources and ensure our wilderness areas remain unspoiled so we continue to be a place to visit for generations to come.
