Infrastructure / Transportation Infrastructure: Larkspur is embarking on the building of its new public library. We also need to replace aging storm drains and sewers. Our roads require regular repair and maintenance. I support these projects and will work to ensure that adequate resources are allocated to these initiatives. Civil Rights Equity and Inclusion: As an Asian-American female and first-generation immigrant, I am running for City Council to increase the diversity of voices on the council. I know first-hand the challenges and hurdles that minorities and immigrants face in pursuit of the American dream. I will support policies and initiatives that create a welcoming environment for all who want to live and work here, especially those in under-represented groups.  Through increased diversity, we will have a more vibrant city. Wages / Job Benefits Housing: We need to create more housing, so our first responders, public servants, teachers and others who serve our community can live closer to where they work. We need to be thoughtful about how and where we build in order to protect the environment and preserve the charm of our community. Environment / Energy Climate:  We must take action now to protect our environment, reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and further invest in renewable energy sources. I will support policies that accelerate our adoption of renewable energy and decrease carbon emissions.
