Infrastructure / Transportation Continuing to enhance key corridors for safety, freight movement, and connectivity, building on successes like the KY 80-461 project. This includes pursuing extensions or improvements to support regional traffic flow, reduce accidents, and attract businesses. Economy As Judge Executive, I will make tourism a top priority. With a Doctorate focused on parks, recreation, and tourism — along with hands-on experience in attractions management — I understand how to strategically grow this sector in a way that benefits the entire county. Education Expanded internships and work-based learning opportunities to give students and young adults hands-on experience and stronger career pathways. Infrastructure / Transportation Expanding sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, bike lanes, and safe routes to schools/parks to promote healthier, more connected communities and reduce vehicle dependency in appropriate areas. Economy That means aggressively promoting our signature destinations such as SomerSplash Waterpark, Pulaski County Park, our marinas, farms, agritourism, agritourism attractions, and the Lake Cumberland region. As well as the addition of both the Bourbon Trail and Horse Soldier Farms Distillery (opening soon). While investing in the county infrastructure that supports visitor growth.
