Taxes / Budget I believe the State Treasurer is a tremendous resource that can be used to promote economic growth in cities and counties across the state. I will be happy to assist Legislators and Economic Developers as they recruit industry within your area. Economy Few people have the ability to get an audience with decision-makers from large corporations as a State Treasurer. I will use that position to promote economic growth in the state. Taxes / Budget I will keep state monies within banks that are headquartered within the State of Alabama. I do not believe banks from other states should be entitled to our taxpayer money leaving our state. Taxes / Budget I will form a public website that will disclose what and where public funds are being spent. This will be an easy way for you, the taxpayer, to see how much money is coming back into your county or city. Consider this the Alabama form of DOGE.
