Healthcare At the core of a successful community is affording all its members the opportunity to have their basic needs met. That starts with access to healthcare. It also means programs that help ensure our neighbors have access to healthy food and nutrition. Education From my time teach adult high school to my time on the Wake Board of Education, I have always known that education is a pathway to success. Education can take place in many settings, so ensure that we have strong public schools and community college course offerings matters to me. Housing The late Commissioner James West was a man of character and integrity. To be selected to complete his term is an honor that comes with great responsibility. Caring for vulnerable communities, advocating for public schools and identifying solutions to our housing crisis are among my top priorities to help ensure everyone has access to a safe and prosperous future.
