Investing in park maintenance and improvement
The parks of alpharetta are important to me because I grew up playing in them and learned how to play baseball there. I want to keep those parks in great shape so that my daughter can get the same joy out of them as I did.
Mixed-income neighborhoods
The development and density issuse is one of the largest dichotomies that that city faces and requires careful management. We don’t want Alpharetta to become overly dense, but at the same time, we need to be able to offer housing options that are attainable for everyone who wants to be a part of our community. Alpharetta can’t just be apartments and high-density housing, but at the same time, we can’t just keep putting in multiple million-dollar-plus homes on lots that used to have a single-family ranch-style house. Maintaining the right mixture of housing requires a deft touch and someone closer to the people who want to be living in Alpharetta but can’t right now because of the housing options.
