Economy Downtown has always been the heart of Vacaville. Public events such as Merriment on Main, The Farmer’s Market, Fiesta Days, and Creekwalk have all been long standing downtown traditions in our Hometown. Our Downtown is special. It evokes nostalgic emotions and memories of years past, for so many Vacavillians. This is why Ted is committed to maintaining and building a prosperous downtown that generations can enjoy for years to come. Social Services Ted’s love for Vacaville’s local families and community members is beyond measure. He believes that Vacaville’s City Services must be maintained and restored, for them to enjoy. Our roads, parks, community centers, and other public spaces are the life blood of community involvement. Ted believes they must be nurtured for Vacaville to thrive. Criminal Justice / Public Safety A big part of Vacaville’s culture, is the safe feeling one gets when they’re here. Our hometown has had a long-standing history of supporting first responders, because our foreleaders have known that everyone wants to feel safe and secure. Ted wants to preserve our quality of life by ensuring that we maintain our city’s tradition. He believes it is paramount that our town has well-funded, properly trained, fully staffed, first-responders and that they have the tools they need to do their job. Infrastructure / Transportation Ted knows that growth must be thoughtful, well planned, and strategic to optimize the living spaces, amenities, and commerce for a flourishing community. He believes Vacaville should not be developed with a piecemeal approach.
