Environment / Energy Leading on clean energy, environmental justice, and building a sustainable, resilient Long Beach. Economy Growing small businesses and creating good-paying jobs right here in Long Beach. Housing Pursue the development of new buildings to achieve near 100% usage of affordable housing, moving beyond the current 10–30% yield from mixed-use partnerships with developers, so that our housing supply serves the people first and enables true affordability across the community. Housing As your Mayor, I am guiding our city to address homelessness with a targeted five-category approach—Youth and Young Adults, Families with Children, Veterans and Individuals Returning from Crisis, Single Adults Experiencing Chronic Homelessness, and Individuals in Transitional or Temporary Shelter—while inviting residents to provide safe, compliant income opportunities that support housing stability, backed by transparent funding, independent oversight, and data-driven progress. Healthcare Expanding access to quality mental health and behavioral health services for every resident who needs them. Criminal Justice / Public Safety We believe taxpayers' dollars should be invested directly back into the community, and we will establish a fund to support proactive crime prevention measures, including assisting residents with security initiatives like neighborhood ring cameras to deter and catch perpetrators. Criminal Justice / Public Safety As your mayor, I am committed to strengthening public safety by hiring more officers, deploying trained cadets aged 18 to 24 onto our streets, and fostering partnerships with local organizations to create robust neighborhood watches. Education Investing in our young people with stronger schools, after-school programs, and real pathways to success. Housing We will foster rapid rehousing, preventive supports, and long-term stability, with town halls, quarterly progress reports, and active avenues for community involvement, volunteerism, and feedback—so that every resident has a safe place to call home, families achieve stability, and our city embodies compassion, accountability, and opportunity for all.
