My Top Issues

Environment / Energy

I am a champion of our town’s efforts to update our fleet of vehicles to hybrids and eventually electric power, install solar panels on municipal buildings, and empower our sustainability coordinator to implement policies and investments to lead the way to a better, greener future.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

Proactively addressing our railroad crossing with improved pavement markings and targeted traffic enforcement efforts, along with community policing efforts focused on customer service, are just a few of our current efforts.

Education

I support the Morrisville Public Education Advocacy Committee, which enables Morrisville families to highlight what is important to them — such as nearby schools and a safe, nurturing environment for our children.

Infrastructure / Transportation

I continue to be a champion for connecting our greenway and sidewalk networks. My goal is for every family to be able to walk or ride their bikes safely from anywhere to anywhere in Morrisville.

Environment / Energy

I am a champion of tree and open space preservation, and I believe that we must invest more to preserve our tree canopy and embrace green infrastructure practices. I will continue to advocate for a tree preservation ordinance update and expanding our open and green space inventory.

Infrastructure / Transportation

I will continue to invest in roadway improvements that mitigate congestion: new roads, road widening, and intersection improvements. As a long-time member of Capital Area Friends of Transit, I understand the need to address this challenge holistically. We must continue to invest in alternative forms of mobility such as buses, commuter rail, and bicycle and pedestrian amenities.
