Government Reform Over the next four years, the City Council of Indian Wells must address significant investments requiring tens of millions of dollars from both the public and private sectors. Investments include the redesign of the golf course, the launch of a new celebrity chef restaurant, the development of affordable housing to meet state requirements, the development of a luxury hotel complex, and the maintenance of our low-income retirement homes, growing energy needs, and more. Infrastructure / Transportation As one of the fastest growing regions in the state of California, we must anticipate and prepare for the increased use of our infrastructure including our roads, sidewalks, police, fire, energy, water, and parking.
