Criminal Justice / Public Safety Travis will collaborate with first responders, law enforcement personnel, and community leaders to develop enhanced safety measures for San Joaquin County. His goal is simple: The emergency response team must provide fast and prepared assistance when people call 911. Environment / Energy Travis Castle opposes any attempt to ship our water south, or any scheme to divert our precious resources to greedy Los Angeles politicians. No tunnels, and protection of our vulnerable and precious Delta ecosystem is at the forefront of Travis Castle’s principles. Housing Travis will advocate for Board of Supervisors policies that establish routes for people to leave homelessness during his time on the board. The solution requires funding for mental health care, job preparation, substance abuse treatment, and secure places to live. His goal is to restore dignity to the community while reducing public service costs. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Travis will support rural fire departments by providing them with necessary funding and operational freedom.
