Housing Our plan includes developing new housing options that meet the needs of Benicia’s future, from affordable, family-centered housing for the missing middle to senior housing that allows longtime community members to age in place. Education We will invest in the future of our children by strengthening the bonds between PTAs, the Benicia Education Foundation, educators, and the City. Together, we’ll enhance the safety and accessibility of our schools, ensuring that every student can learn and thrive in a secure environment. Economy We will champion the expansion of commercial and retail centers to generate new tax dollars, fueling Benicia's economic growth while preserving our community’s unique heritage. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Protecting our citizens and ensuring that our police officers and firefighters are competitively compensated to keep our community safe, will continue to be one of my top priorities. Economy Together, we’ll build a stronger financial foundation for Benicia by continuing to streamline community services, reducing overhead costs, and generating new sources of revenue through economic expansion and operational efficiency. Government Reform We’ll utilize social media and modern communication tools to keep our constituents informed and engaged, ensuring that every voice is heard and every decision is transparent. Economy We'll focus on expanding retail jobs and increasing retail square footage to boost sales tax revenue, ensuring our city remains financially vibrant and resilient for generations to come.
