This is why Troy supports preventing industrialization of rural Brush Prairie and ensuring that land use decisions reflect long term community interests. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Troy will work to secure state and federal funding first and make sure every outside dollar is pursued before asking taxpayers for additional support. Investments in safety must be targeted, accountable and effective. Criminal Justice / Public Safety We need a realistic, nonpartisan plan to address jail capacity and public safety infrastructure. Housing Permitting and planning processes must be timely and predictable. Whether a family is building a home, adding an accessory dwelling for an aging parent or starting a small project, they deserve clear timelines and responsive service. Infrastructure / Transportation County government should make that easier, not harder. Livability also means protecting open space, supporting agriculture and maintaining infrastructure so communities remain affordable and functional. Criminal Justice / Public Safety Clark County must ensure law enforcement and emergency services have the tools and facilities needed to protect the community.
