Criminal Justice / Public Safety As Mayor, I will focus on providing additional funding to our police department, expanding opportunities for our at-risk youth and creating a city-wide neighborhood association program. Government Reform How and why decisions are made regarding the City should never be a mystery and should be discussed openly and in public. As Mayor one of the first changes I will implement would be to combine the Pre-Council Meeting with the General Council Meeting. I believe this would provide greater transparency to would ensure that all citizens would be given the opportunity to learn how decisions are made. Economy As Mayor, I will prioritize revitalizing the city through recruiting small businesses to renovate our downtown and working with real eastate investors and professionals to renovate dilapidated houses for working families.
