Criminal Justice / Public Safety It also means focusing on practical, prevention-based strategies that make a real difference: strong neighborhood partnerships, attention to high-need areas, and smart investments that reduce crime, improve traffic safety, and strengthen quality of life across Paramount. Taxes / Budget Paramount should be a city where seniors feel supported, connected, and valued. I want to strengthen the facilities, programs, and services that help older adults stay healthy and independent, including improvements to senior programming and community spaces where residents can gather, stay active, and access resources. I also support investments in safe, accessible parks and public spaces that welcome seniors and families alike. By prioritizing comfort, accessibility, and meaningful programming, we can help seniors stay engaged and supported right here in Paramount. Education We need to support young people before challenges become crises, and that starts with making sure they have safe places to go and strong support systems around them. I will work with schools, nonprofits, city programs, and local service providers to expand practical, sustainable support for at-risk youth. That includes mentorship, recreation, academic support, job readiness, and prevention programs that build skills and stability. When we invest in youth early, we strengthen families, improve public safety over time, and create better long-term outcomes for the entire Paramount community. Criminal Justice / Public Safety I want to ensure Paramount residents continue to receive high-quality first responder services by supporting the people who protect us every day. That means making sure our public safety partners, especially law enforcement, fire response, and emergency medical services, have the coordination, staffing support, and resources needed to respond quickly and effectively. Taxes / Budget I will be diligent in protecting our residents’ tax dollars and supporting well-planned spending. That means setting clear priorities, expecting measurable results, and being transparent about where funds are going and why. I will support budgets and projects that are practical, cost-effective, and focused on core needs, public safety, infrastructure, and essential services. While also looking for opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency. Responsible spending isn’t about doing less; it’s about doing what works, planning ahead, and earning the community’s trust through steady, accountable leadership.
