Infrastructure / Transportation Modernizing our infrastructure: Infrastructure isn’t just roads and bridges. Infrastructure also includes investing in rural broadband, investing safe and secure water systems, attracting sustainable businesses that will bring well-paying jobs, and ensuring quality healthcare for all. Infrastructure / Transportation Building Stronger Communities: After the July 2022 floods, we have an extremely rare opportunity to rebuild our community for the future, and we have one chance to get it right. We will invest in affordable housing initiatives, create plans for disaster resilience and response, and emphasize community development and reinvestment. Education Investing in public education: As a former educator and new dad, I know the value of a public education. This is not possible without adequate support for teachers and school systems. We must increase funding for public schools immediately, give everyone access to affordable childcare and early childhood education, and make college more affordable.
