The council in Arizona cities and towns is the local policy making and law-making body possessing broad authority and the legal power to govern the affairs of the community. A candidate interested in running for Sahuarita Town Council Member must be at least 18 years of age; a qualified elector at the time of filing their nomination paper; and have resided in Sahuarita for one year.
