Eligibility Requirements

A candidate for local office must be a qualified elector at the time of filing the nomination paper. Candidates must be eighteen years of age or over.  Candidates must have resided in the town for one year preceding the election.

Filing Requirements

No filing fee; signature requirement of at least 5% and not more than 10% of the voters in the city.
