The Board plans, controls, and manages all matters pertaining to the Sewage Collection and Disposal System of the District in conformity with all applicable Federal, state, county and local laws and regulations applicable thereto. The Board has general supervision over the District's sewer system, all real and personal property connected therewith, and the employees thereof. The Board may employ sanitation experts, engineers, administrators, surveyors, counsel, or any other persons as are necessary in the exercise of its powers (A.R.S. Section 48-2011[9]).
