Eligibility Requirements
A candidate interested in running for the City of Somerton Council must be at least 18 years of age at the time of election, have resided in the jurisdictional boundaries of the City of Somerton for one year, and be a qualified elector in the State of Arizona.
Filing Requirements
No filing fee; signature requirement of at least 5% and not more than 10% of the voters in the city.
